When should I call all purpose movers?
If you need a local movers today, we can probably do that. If you require a written in-home estimate , you should call about 7 days to 2 weeks before your move. We generally just ask you to give us as much notice as you can.

How long does all purpose movers need for an in-home estimate? 

Usually no more than 30 minutes

What are my responsibilities?  :                        

   at origin:

· Be present during the packing of your belongings.

· Take personal responsibility for jewelry and other high value items.

· Ensure that no prohibited items are packed.

· You MUST pack everything from the refrigerator

You are responsible for ANY items left behind 

At destination :

·        You MUST pay prior the unloading process, CASH OR CREDIT CARD PLEASE DONWLOAD FORM IF CARD NOT PRESENT

· When we finish you are welcome to check inside the  moving truck for small miscellaneous

· Make sure that furniture is on the right place

· Check furniture and residence , if there is property damage you must inform the driver immediately

So what can or can not  I take with me?
Generally speaking, dispose of all flammable items, liquids, foods and other items that should not be shipped. Anything that can deteriorate should not be shipped. If you have a question about something, just call and ask

Can I pack myself?
Why not? But be aware of the potential problems. For instance, valuation coverage will not pay out on goods packed by their owner, that's why we offer packing services  so your items are under  valuation coverage

How long will all purpose movers take to pack my goods?

Local moves :

· apartments same day pack load and unload

· Large homes  :first day only packing, second day load and deliver

·  

Long distance moves

· apartments  moves same day pack and load and deliver  next day (depending distance )

· Homes : pack 1 day, load next day and deliver third day (depending distance)

Every home is different but we will let you know when we do the estimate

Can I leave my clothes in their drawers?
Yes, you can. Just be sure not to leave anything solid that can damage the piece.

How am I covered in case of damage?
Your things are covered by valuation. On local and interstate shipments you receive basic liability  valuation coverage of $0.60 cents per pound per article at no cost. You may elect to purchase more valuation coverage by declaring full replacement valuation for your goods. You are charged a premium on the declared amount. The premiums vary with your type of move.
